Stealth Apache

Have you been looking for a new UTV? If so or even if you aren’t in the market at this moment I suggest taking a good long look at What Stealth has to offer (Apache). They run electric motors and are at the top of the game.

I know what you are thinking electric motor why would I want one of those? Can they even preform as well as a UTV with a gas powered motor? Keep reading and you will find out why they are just as good if not better than a gas powered UTV.

The first thing I would like to bring up is the noise a traditional UTV creates while driving through the woods or along the trail. If you are hunting for anything this can be a major problem. Stealth says it in their name. They virtually have no noise what so ever.

There is an over all price savings and much less maintenance with an electric UTV. Here are a few things you won’t have to deal with filling up with gas (save money), no oil change (save money and time), you won’t have to add coolant, air filters, spark plugs, valve adjustment, transmission, belt drives, etc. Don’t get me wrong they aren’t 100% maintenance free, but the list is much smaller than a gas engine. Here are the only things you will have to worry about with a Stealth UTV the drive shaft, front wheel bearings and the cost to charge the battery.

Electric motors have very few moving parts so with less maintenance (mentioned above) this makes them much more reliable.

Lower overall emissions, is another good reason to go electric. All you have to do is charge the battery. No exhaust from an electric motor.

No matter how you look at it, an electric motor will have instant torque which is not possible in a gas powered vehicle. The reason a gas powered UTV can’t have max torque is because the engine requires RPMs to build up torque. The Stealth vehicles average around 120 lb/ft while most gas UTVs average any where from 40 to 60 lb/ft. With the instant torque it will allow you to have more control when riding over obstacles.

Compared to some of the other Electric UTV’s the Stealth Apache is in my opinion the over all best. It may not be the best in all of the categories, but it is never below the number three spot in any of them. Some of the others are good in a couple categories, but horrible in most of the others. A few are just golf carts painted in camo with bigger tires (that is scary).

Let’s take a look at the five categories I feel are most important. Speed you want to get there fast. Range you need to know how far you can go so you don’t get stuck somewhere. Towing Capacity well it’s nice to know how much weight you can tow if you have to hook up a trailer for hauling wood or other things. Weight the lighter it is the easier it will be to man handle it if need be. Where is it made is always good to know.

Stealth Apache Made in USA

Winner all Stealth Products are made in the USA.

I’m not 100% sure on this one but do you think the others are trying to hide something like being made in China. Just a guess I could be wrong.

As you can see the Apache may not be the best in all of my categories but it is by far the all around best for your money and to boot it’s made in the good old US of A really what else needs to be said. If you haven't already go check out the Stealth web site.

Thanks

I recently sold my ATV which I hated to do. We've talked about a UTV for hunting camp, but hadn't thought of electric. May have to at least consider it. I like the quiet factor.
