A Big Thank You!

Hey everyone if you didn’t already know I found a job in the hunting industry working for a company called North American Membership group. My position is the Social Media Editor for North American Hunting Club. I have had the job for about a month and a half, so far and I love it.
I first of all wanted to thank everyone who has read Ben G. Outdoors for the last couple of years and helped me along the way you all are great. I couldn’t have done it without you.  There are so many people I want to thank; I hope I don’t miss anyone.

Number one on my list is my Wife Amber without her support I would have never been able to do any of this. In around about way my boys had an influence on me starting Ben G. Outdoors, so thank you Wyatt and Nolan.
In the blogging world I would like to thank Elisabeth Peterson of Deer Passion . She was one of the first people to support me in my blogging effort, giving me great feedback about blogging in general, becoming my first friend on twitter, and as well as my very first guest post so thank you Elisabeth.
Jim Bratten of the Sportsman’s Blog  has been so nice and forth coming with advice, support, and friendship I don’t know what I would have done without him. Jim is a great guy; I actually had the chance to meet him and was part of the Midwest Blogger Summit planning team. Jim Thank you a ton for your help, support, and friendship!
Next we have a couple of fellows who run great bogs Albert Rasch of The Rasch Outdoor Chronicles who helped me answer, so many questions, helped me spread the word about my contest,  and was/still is a great person to bounce ideas off of. Thanks Albert!

Then there is Rick Kratzke of Whitetail Woods. He has giving me so much support over the last couple of years I can’t begin to say thanks enough. When no one else would comment on my posts I could be sure to get feedback and comments from Rick. Thanks so much Rick!
Jody Narantic of the Hunter’s Wife. Jody has helped me sort through Ideas and given me great advice on how to market my blog. As well as giving me a chance to do a guest post for her blog and try out my comedy writing (I think I’ll stick with outdoor writing). Thank you bunches Jody!
On the fishing side I can’t for get to thank Mel Moore, he was another great influence and gave me some great feedback as well as helping spread the word about Ben G. Outdoors. Thanks a bunch Mel!

I also have to give a huge thanks to Eddie Lee Rider of Land Report , and Sportsmans Life , without Eddie’s help I would have never had the chance to connect with Bill Miller of the North American Hunting Club in the first place. Eddie introduced me to Bill through email and gave me a stellar recommendation. Thanks Eddie I owe you one or more!
On the business blog side of things I have to thank Dayne Shuda. With his hunting business marketing web site (which I miss greatly) I learned so much about the industry and how to effectively present my blog. Because of his article The 50 best blog posts of 2009 where I received a 14 ranking I realized I may have under estimated myself as a blogger/writer. Thanks so Much Dayne!
Most of you in the outdoor blogging world will know this lady she has a blog called BulletProof Media  Michelle Scheuerman.  She is also the Director of Communications at The Sportsman Channel. Michelle invited me to Hunt Fish Feed in St. Paul, MN in 2010. She has helped me out greatly. Especially when I was about to give up on writing and blogging Michelle asked me to do a couple of articles for the Sportsman Channel's newsletter. I was like holy crap I must be able to write if she is giving me this chance. Thanks for everything Michelle!
Adam Dunnom of  has helped me out any time I sent him and email, or called him for advice. Adam has been a very big part of me learning how to market, advertise, and monetize my blog. Thank you Adam for all your help!
The boys at Foremost Media/Foremost Hunting Jon Ballard and Chris Larsen, these guys are; well awesome no other word can describe them. Jon basically redesigned my blog for me, and Chris has been a great help on twitter. I won’t forget to mention the fact that I was asked by both Chris and Jon to write a couple of articles for their site and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks a heap Guys!
I also would like to thank Joe and Rebecca of the Outdoor Blogger Network There were a couple of times when I started to lose interest in blogging, when their great site got me back into it. Not only do they provide a great service to outdoor bloggers around the web, but they are wonderful people too. Thanks greatly Rebecca & Joe.
A few others I would like to thank Kari Murray, Mike Agneta of Troutrageous! , John Delaney of  Fish Creek Spinners , Cory Glauner of International Hunting Consultants , Matt of The Functioning Fishaholics, Nicole Calleo of Hanks Clothing , Alexis Nascimento of Magnum Boots , Josh Mann of Some Fishing Blog , Lisa Jane of Hunt Like You’re Hungry, and Elle of Bullets & Biscuits  I know I have missed more than a few people, so if I left you out I am deeply sorry.
Without every last one of these people I would have never had the opportunity to make it in the industry, so thank you all from deep down inside me for everything you have shared, shown, helped with, provided, advised, supported, responded, read, and done to help me on my journey. YOU ALL ROCK!
